Greetings pilots!
The CMN Balloon Rally in Wisconsin Rapids will be held at the Alexander Field Airport. We can accommodate approximately 30 balloons. Flights are scheduled for Friday afternoon, Saturday morning, Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. Glows are scheduled for Friday and Saturday nights.

The Rapids Balloon Rally is not a competition (although comical tasks may be assigned!). The event is sponsored by the local Children’s Miracle Network and is held to raise money for that charity. All flights are treated as donations to CMN. Participating balloons will be provided with a vinyl sign with the name and logo of a local business which has made a substantial donation to CMN. The signs are mounted to balloon baskets and each participating pilot is expected, but not required, to take one sponsor-selected passenger on one of the weekend flights. Participating pilots receive: -- propane for all flights and glows (arrive full, leave full)
-- one room Friday and Saturday night at Hotel Mead (www.HotelMead.com)
-- discounted rates for crew members at Hotel Mead
-- meals on Saturday and Sunday (pilot and three crew)
-- pilot shirt and gift package. The public is not charged to attend the rally but donations are requested. Our rally also features musical entertainment, fireworks, skydiving demonstrations, activities for children, and food/beverage/craft vendors. If you have attended in the past, I hope you join us again. If you have not previously attended, please consider doing so this year!
