The CMN Balloon Rally in Wisconsin Rapids will be held at the Alexander Field Airport on August 24th through the 26th. We can accommodate approximately 30 balloons. Flights are scheduled for Friday afternoon, Saturday morning, Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. Glows are scheduled for Friday and Saturday nights. The Rapids Balloon Rally is not a competition (although comical tasks may be assigned!). The event is sponsored by the local Children’s Miracle Network and is held to raise money for that charity. All flights are treated as donations to CMN. Participating balloons will be provided with a vinyl sign with the name and logo of a local business which has made a substantial donation to CMN. The signs are mounted to balloon baskets and each participating pilot is expected, but not required, to take one sponsor-selected passenger on one of the weekend flights.
